Marketing

I have just been having a clear-out of paperwork and came across a letter from Toxic.

Here goes nothing then:

...our priorities focus on Quality & Customer Satisfaction, Growth, People and Efficiency.

Under these 4 key areas we will drive our business through:

our culture and our people
best practice
excellence and quality
continuous improvement and innovation
spedning time on what's important; challenging what's not
creating client enthusiasm
making productivity systemic
zero defects

bla de bla.. we want the best products, the best profits, the best reputation with customers and we want to be the best place to work.

Enclosed with the nice letter was a little plastic credit card with these things on to remind you. I have it in my pocket now, and take it out and gaze at it whenever I feel sad....

Welsh classy girl

Millionairesse, opera singer and recent TV star, Charlotte Church, has revealed she gave birth in front of a rugby match - but admits she wasn't paying full attention to the TV. The star also told how she went into labour with her first child, Ruby Megan, in the car park of DIY store B&Q.She told OK! magazine she was shopping with rugby player boyfriend Gavin Henson when the contractions hit."

[Gavin] accidentally locked me in the car and the alarm was going off, so people were coming out of B&Q hearing the alarm and looking at the car, and then seeing it's Charlotte Church in there."I was just trying to hide but couldn't - just sitting there having contractions! I wanted to go for a meal in the Toby Carvery but the contractions were every five minutes so we came back."

The singer and presenter returned to her Cardiff home where she and Henson put the Wales v Japan Rugby World Cup match on television.

But she confessed she "was on gas and air by that point so I wasn't really concentrating".Church, whose daughter was born weighing 6lb 12oz, added: "I'm really shocked by how I feel. It's just instant massive amounts of love towards her."
